Rusty Hatch Crosses Big Stat Threshold
 North Gem was led to victory by  Rusty Hatch, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Hatch rushed for 223 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per carry. Thanks to that strong showing,  he's  now averaging 2.3  rushing touchdowns per game. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards.
 Mackay had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw  Hatch it was a similar story. When  Hatch last faced the Miners  back in September of 2023, he rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns.

Craig Yost's Big Game Leads North Gem over Mackay
  Craig Yost posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He rushed for 264 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry. That high mark didn't come from nowhere:  he posted at least 108  rushing yards in the ninth games prior.
 Mackay's probably not too fond of  Yost given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time  Yost saw the Miners), he rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

 While Watersprings might've come up empty  on Friday,  Korban Nelson wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the   loss,  Nelson was still balling out as he threw for 260 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns.
 Watersprings is  on  a  six-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. Nelson and Watersprings will host Rockland  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Sean Perry Makes It Two for Watersprings
 Another Watersprings player making an appearance on this list is  Sean Perry. He picked up 106 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made seven total tackles and defended a pass.
 For the year,  Perry  has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 70.2 receiving yards per game.
