Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rocky River to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mackenzie Russell, who scored 11 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Russell has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ava Patti, who scored 11 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Rocky River now has a winning record of 7-6. As for North Olmsted, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rocky River will challenge Buckeye at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Buckeye will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 755th, while Rocky River is ranked 216th). As for North Olmsted, they will head out on the road to take on Elyria Catholic at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
