Roxana is 4-0 against Bunker Hill since November of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Roxana Shells will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bunker Hill Minutemen at 7:30 p.m. Roxana will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Even though Roxana has not done well against Greenville recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Roxana walked away with a 58-48 win over Greenville. That's two games straight that Roxana has won by exactly ten points.
Chris Walleck was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with four steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Maberry, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Bunker Hill unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak last Monday. They were beaten by Staunton 71-34. Bunker Hill has struggled against Staunton recently, as their contest last Monday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Roxana is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Bunker Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.
Roxana strolled past Bunker Hill when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 58-40. Will Roxana repeat their success, or does Bunker Hill have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
