After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sherando, Handley was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They breezed by the James Wood Colonels to the tune of 66-31. The Judges have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 23 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why James Wood lost, don't look at Josie Russell. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. Russell's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Shirley, who posted nine points and four steals.

Handley moved to 13-5 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for James Wood, their record now sits at 11-7.

Handley will face off against Hampshire at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for James Wood, they will challenge Warren County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
