The Taylor Ducks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season. They blew past Lampasas 58-36. The victory was nothing new for Taylor as they're now sitting on six straight.
It was another big night for Kionayh Rivers, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. The matchup was her third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Asia Zachary, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds.
Taylor pushed their record up to 11-7 with that win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.4 points. As for Lampasas, their loss dropped their record down to 7-17.
Taylor will head out on the road to face off against Giddings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lampasas, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gatesville at 6:15 p.m.
