Senedot Stripes were the 51-46 winner over the Kingsway Christian Eagles when they last played one another on January 9th, but their luck changed this time around. Senedot Stripes took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kingsway Christian on Saturday.
Kingsway Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Elias Smith out in front who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Smith has scored all season. JT Bischoff was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Senedot Stripes dropped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Kingsway Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-16.
Senedot Stripes will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harvest Temple Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on February 9th. Kingsway Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Grand Lake Christian at 3:45 p.m. on January 27th.
