West Haven extended the longest winning streak in Southern Connecticut Division I - East this week by beating Sheehan, 48-12. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Blue Devils.
West Haven took down the Titans 48-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Wilbur Cross's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Donte Skinner threw for 77 yards and Kolbe Hartman had 31 yards receiving. On the ground Jaylin Fuller chipped in 101 yards. Marcus Whittle helped Wilbur Cross' passing attack out by catching two balls for 17 yards.
Edward Mccarthy's team's Javon Taylor and Ervin Philips have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Taylor has thrown for 213 yards this season, while Philips, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has five catches for 127 yards. Notre Dame's Cameron Tucker leads the league in rushing yards with 635.
Hand led the league in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on the Governors.
