Metrolina Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Gaston Day.
Metrolina Christian Academy didn't let Gaston Day take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 28-26, 25-22.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Metrolina Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Makena Gadd, who had 21 digs and three aces. The dominant performance also gave Gadd a new career-high in assists (25). Another player making a difference was Lauren Ratzlaff, who had 15 digs and ten assists.
Meanwhile, Union Academy came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Rowdy Rebel Bulls.
Union Academy was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 24-26, 25-22.
Union Academy's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
