Parkersburg Catholic's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-1. As for St. Marys, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkersburg Catholic will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tyler at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. St. Marys won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Wheeling Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. Wheeling Central Catholic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps West Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 185th, while St. Marys is ranked 20th).
