Braden Stringer, who rushed for five touchdowns. The scores gave the senior 35 touchdowns for the year.
After taking the lead on a Stringer touchdown run in the first quarter, the Lions led 34-0 at the half.
With the win Blanchard extended its winning streak to 11 games. Blanchard defeated Perkins-Tryon 76-13 last week.
BHS went into the matchup giving up only 11.3 points per game. The zero points that the Racers ended with were well below their average of 26.6 coming into the game. Newcastle came in allowing just 15.3 points per game this season. NHS struggled against Blanchard's offense, who entered the game scoring 44.5 points per game.
When the two teams played each other last season, Blanchard came away with a 42-14 victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Newcastle, who notched a 28-6 victory over Sulphur in its previous outing. The loss broke Newcastle's two-game winning streak.
