Williamson is 1-8 against North Penn-Liberty since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Warriors will host the Mountie at 4:30 p.m. Williamson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
Williamson came out on top against Wellsboro on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run third inning. The Warriors walked away with a 9-4 win over the Hornets. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Olivia Gee spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kaegen Short, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Lexi Smalley, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs.
Meanwhile, while North Penn-Liberty put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Northeast Bradford. The Mountie came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mountie.
The result came thanks to Elyna Booth's shutout, as she gave up just three hits.
On the hitting side, North Penn-Liberty saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haley Litzelman, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Ava Giles also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Williamson's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for North Penn-Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Williamson has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like North Penn-Liberty struggles in that department as they've been averaging 10.1 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Williamson might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from North Penn-Liberty in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Will the Warriors have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
