That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 8.4 points per game. As for Spotswood, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. J.P. Stevens will take on Kennedy Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kennedy Memorial comes in on a streak of failing to score more than ten points in their last eight games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Spotswood, they have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Point Pleasant Boro at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Point Pleasant Boro presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Spotswood in New Jersey (Point Pleasant Boro is ranked 20th, while Spotswood is ranked 251st).
