Destiny Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They lost  3-0 to the Sutter Huskies. The Lions were not able to make up for their  loss to the Huskies from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16,  25-14.
 Lauren Korver paced Destiny Christian Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Korver got some help from  Lainey Fankhanel and her 16 assists. Fankhanel was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with four aces.
 Among those leading the charge was   Audrey Young, who  had four  aces and three  digs. That's the most  aces  she has posted  over her last nine  matches.
Destiny Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Sutter, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-9.
 Destiny Christian Academy has already played their next game,  a  2-0  loss against Amador on the 20th. As for Sutter, they will host Casa Roble  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
