Last Friday, El Paso HomeSchool was able to grind out a solid win over Jesus Chapel, taking the game 41-32.
El Paso HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Neubauer out in front who scored 16 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that Neubauer grabbed two or more steals. Brandon Walls was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Job Corps suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They took a serious blow against Fort Hancock, falling 73-32. Job Corps was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-17.
El Paso HomeSchool's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. As for Job Corps, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Everything came up roses for El Paso HomeSchool against Job Corps in their previous meeting on January 4th as the squad secured a 66-20 win. Will El Paso HomeSchool repeat their success, or does Job Corps have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
