American Heritage Academy was dealt a 82-17 loss at the hands of Democracy Prep Agassi Campus. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points American Heritage Academy has scored all season.
Despite the loss, American Heritage Academy still got an impressive performance from Jacob Rodrigues, who scored 11 points. That was a full 64.7% of American Heritage Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Democracy Prep Agassi Campus found their leader in underclassman Josiah Stroughter, who scored 12 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Dion Parker, who scored eight points along with two steals.
American Heritage Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Democracy Prep Agassi Campus, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home.
American Heritage Academy will take on Innovations International at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Democracy Prep Agassi Campus won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lake Mead Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 13th. Lake Mead Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
