After flying high against the Natrona County Mustangs on Friday, the Rock Springs Tigers came back down to earth. Rock Springs lost to Laramie on the road by a decisive 45-31 margin on Friday. Rock Springs has struggled against Laramie recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Addison Forry, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds for Laramie. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylin Shipman, who scored 12 points.
Rock Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Laramie, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
Rock Springs is on the road again on Saturday and play against Central on January 6th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Central is ranked 19th, while Rock Springs is ranked 33rd). Laramie and Riverton will face off at 12:00 p.m. on January 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Riverton is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
