Volleyball Recap: Arroyo Wins Going Away Against Hayward

Arroyo barely beat Hayward the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Arroyo Dons were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Hayward Farmers on Tuesday. The Dons haven't had any issues with the Farmers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

While Arroyo won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-22.

Arroyo's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Hayward, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arroyo will take on San Lorenzo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Arroyo is facing San Lorenzo at the right time seeing as San Lorenzo is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Hayward, they will square off against KIPP King at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. KIPP King will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hayward surely won't give up without a fight.
