The Westfield Rocks will take on the Zionsville Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Westfield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
While Westfield's win against McCutcheon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rocks had just enough and edged out the Mavericks 7-5. The Rocks haven't had any issues with the Mavericks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Westfield got a great performance from Mackenzie Delph as she struck out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. That's the most strikeouts Delph has posted since back in May of 2025.
At the plate, Reese Mahannah was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Mariana Lopez also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Westfield lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McCutcheon didn't launched any.
Meanwhile, Zionsville earned a 6-2 win over Lebanon on Thursday.
Hadley St. John spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.
On the hitting side, Natalie Hester was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Caroline Westerfield, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Westfield's record now sits at 13-10-1. As for Zionsville, their record is now 8-12.
Zionsville's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Westfield has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.5 hits per game. It's a different story for Zionsville, though, as they've been averaging 9.2 hits. Given Westfield's sizable advantage in that area, the Eagles will need to find a way to close that gap.
Westfield got the 'W' in their previous matchup on May 6th against Zionsville by a conclusive 15-2 score. Will the Rocks repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
