The Lakeland Christian Vikings will venture away from home to face off against The First Academy Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lakeland Christian comes in on three and The First Academy on 12.
Lakeland Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Santa Fe Catholic by a score of 8-4.

At the plate, Mookie Rodriguez was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high.
Meanwhile, The First Academy earned a 5-2 win over John Carroll Catholic on Tuesday.
Tyler Arafet looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Remo Indomenico, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last four times he's played. Roy Rodriguez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
The First Academy's victory was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Lakeland Christian, their record now sits at 23-8.
Monday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Lakeland Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .443. However, it's not like The First Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .462. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Lakeland Christian couldn't quite finish off The First Academy when the teams last played back in May of 2024 and fell 8-6. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
