The Albertville Aggies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Mountain Brook by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Albertville of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.
Albertville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mountain Brook, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Albertville will square off against Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Albertville's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Mountain Brook, they will head out on the road to face off against Sylacauga at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
