The Hopewell Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Central Valley Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopewell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.
Hopewell is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 16 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Deer Lakes on Thursday. They fell 5-2 to the Lancers.

Emma Weaver spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up 12 Ks.
At the plate, Natalie Iannessa was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Lacey Aikens, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Hopewell's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Central Valley, their record is now 2-0.
