Timberlake lost to Dover on Thursday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Longhorns with a sharp 14-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 11 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Timberlake is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-15 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Dover, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-13.

Looking ahead, Timberlake is taking a road trip to face off against Oklahoma Bible at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dover, they will take on Pioneer-Pleasant Vale at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Longhorns have won four straight at home, while the Mustangs won ten straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
