The Live Oak Classical Falcons will venture away from home to take on the First Baptist Saints at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Live Oak Classical will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
Live Oak Classical is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Mart: they outscored them in every quarter. Live Oak Classical came out on top against Mart by a score of 30-17 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by exactly 13 points.

Live Oak Classical's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Stella Sriram, who posted six points and three steals. Sriram is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Miriam Carl, who put up four points and seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, First Baptist's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to Brook Hill.
Live Oak Classical will have to contain Georgia Alford as she made an impact in First Baptist's last game. She dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Alford a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Allison Munnerlyn, who earned five points and five rebounds.
Even though they lost, First Baptist smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 18 consecutive games.
Live Oak Classical's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for First Baptist, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Live Oak Classical has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 24.2 boards per game. However, it's not like First Baptist struggles in that department as they've been averaging 37.9 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Live Oak Classical came up short against First Baptist in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 54-42. Can Live Oak Classical avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
