The Clay County Panthers will be home for the holidays to greet the Nicholas County Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Clay County comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Thursday, Clay County was beaten by Gilmer County 65-37.
Meanwhile, Nicholas County ended up a good deal behind Sissonville on Thursday and lost 70-54. Nicholas County has not had much luck with Sissonville recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Clay County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Nicholas County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Clay County didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Nicholas County in their previous meeting back in February, but they still walked away with a 59-53 victory.
