The Anna Coyotes are taking a road trip to square off against the Denison Yellow Jackets at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Anna has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Anna came up short against Walnut Grove on Wednesday, falling 19-3. The Coyotes have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Ilyana Pech made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Swistak, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Denison came out on top against Sherman on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Yellow Jackets walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Bearcats. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.
Camden Mack spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on one hit and racked up 13 Ks.
On the hitting side, Jamison Milner was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Blake Bruton, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles.
Denison hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 7-2 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Denison is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Anna, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Anna hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Denison struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Anna suffered a grim 14-2 defeat to Denison when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Coyotes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
