Roscommon walked away with a 35-24 victory over Grayling. This was payback for Roscommon, who suffered a 51-8 loss the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Roscommon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zoey Kauffman, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Kylie Traver was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 5 steals.
Roscommon's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Grayling, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Roscommon will head out on the road to face off against Ogemaw Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grayling, they will be playing at home against Petoskey at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
