Sonoran Science Academy has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on Jones-Gordon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sonoran Science Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 14 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 59-14, which was the final score in Sonoran Science Academy's tilt against Arrowhead Christian Academy last Friday. Sonoran Science Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-9.
Meanwhile, Jones-Gordon had to suffer through a rough 61-26 loss at the hands of Skyline Prep. While losing is never fun, Jones-Gordon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 149th, while Skyline Prep is ranked 28th).
Sonoran Science Academy bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Jones-Gordon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
