Mattanawcook waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Calais Blue Devils 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Lynx, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Addison Cyr, who went 2-for-3 with four runs and one double. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Marissa Libbey was another key player, earning three RBI and one run.

Mattanawcook pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Calais, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mattanawcook beat the Blue Devils by a score of 8-1 later that day.
