North can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top against Centennial by a score of 74-65. That 74-65 margin sets a new team best for North this season.
North got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Duke King out in front who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brevin Conway, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Como Park came up short against Two Rivers on Tuesday and fell 86-74.
North's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3. As for Como Park, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
