D2 District 8 (8 Man) recap Nov. 7, 2012
Medicine Valley extended the longest winning streak in D2 District 8 (8 Man) this week by beating Garden County, 64-42. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
Medicine Valley took down the Eagles 64-42 last week, the largest margin of any game. Riley Garey threw for 148 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 122 yards in the win.
Scott Johnsen's team's Garey and Lucas Gleisberg have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Garey has thrown for 1095 yards this season, while Gleisberg has 36 catches for 665 yards. Hayes Center's Tristan Johnson leads the league in rushing yards with 969.
In 161 carries Zach Mann has accumulated 924 yard this year.
The Raiders led the league in scoring this week after putting up 64 points on Garden County. Garey in the win.
