The Tenoroc Titans couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a rough 62-8 loss at the hands of Altamonte Christian. Tenoroc was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-7.
Altamonte Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kayleigh Cooper out in front who scored 19 points along with 9 steals and 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Alexis Hill, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds.
Tenoroc's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Altamonte Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tenoroc will take on Kathleen at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Kathleen focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Wednesday. As for Altamonte Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Celebration at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
