For the first time this season, Jemicy will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Wednesday. They will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the St. Frances Academy Panthers at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are at an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long.

While St. Frances Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past Wise 14-2 on Friday. Considering the Panthers have won four games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Mason Hodges was a standout: he scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Yates, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
St. Frances Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .577 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
