St. Charles East was led to victory by Sofia O?sullivan and Carmen Aguilera. O?sullivan scored 13 points, while Aguilera scored 21 points. That's the first time this season that Aguilera scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Lexi Diorio, who scored ten points along with two steals.
St. Charles East's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Lake Park, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17.
St. Charles East will head out on the road to challenge St. Charles North at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Glenbard North at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Glenbard North has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 28.
