The Tampa Prep Terrapins will face off against the Sports Leadership & Management Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tampa Prep will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Tampa Prep will bounce into Monday's game after beating Berkeley Prep, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Terrapins came out on top against the Buccaneers by a score of 6-3 on Tuesday.
Tampa Prep got a great performance from Erik Skiendziel as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 6.2 innings pitched. Skiendziel has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Will Futch was excellent, getting on base in three of his seven plate appearances with one home run and five RBI. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Della Rocca, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances.
Sports Leadership & Management never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Prestonsburg on Friday. They blew past the Blackcats 10-2.
Isaiah Morales was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has become a key player for Sports Leadership & Management: the team is 4-2 when he allows at most two hits, but 2-11 otherwise. Morales was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
In other pitching news, Chucho Tirado looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Chris Pope, who scored two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Sports Leadership & Management is 6-1 when Pope posts two or more runs, but 0-12 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jaydine Jardine, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
Sports Leadership & Management always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Tampa Prep pushed their record up to 11-10 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.
