The Miller Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 11th straight loss. They were outmatched by Harvest Prep at home and fell 73-4. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Miller has scored all season.
Harvest Prep found their leader in underclassman Maliyah Lofton, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten assists. The matchup was Lofton's third in a row with at least ten points. Mo?nae Gamble was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with ten rebounds and eight steals.
Miller's defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-12. As for Harvest Prep, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.
Miller will be playing at home against Berne Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harvest Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Tri-Valley at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.
