Softball Recap: Farragut Gets the Win

Farragut got themselves on the board against Tazewell on Saturday, but Tazewell never followed suit. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 5-0. The Admirals haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Farragut's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Effy Armstrong, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI Armstrong has posted since back in March. Another was Sydney Branson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one run.

Farragut's victory bumped their record up to 23-9-1. As for Tazewell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Farragut has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against William Blount on the 28th. As for Tazewell, they will be playing at home against Lebanon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
