Imagine Prep entered their tilt with Skyline Prep on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Skyline Prep Bengals, posting a 74-38 win. Given the Storm's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Bengals are ranked 90th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Imagine Prep to victory were Rich Rodriguez and Oscar Paparone. Rodriguez went 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points, while Paparone went 5 for 11 en route to 15 points. That's the most points Paparone has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Dallas White, who posted eight points.

Imagine Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Skyline Prep, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-10.

Imagine Prep will challenge East Valley Athletes for Christ at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Valley Athletes for Christ is on a eight-game streak of home wins, Imagine Prep a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Skyline Prep, they will square off against Bella Vista College Preparatory School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
