Perryville has won seven straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Bigelow has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Perryville Mustangs will host the Bigelow Panthers at 4:30 p.m. One thing working in Perryville's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
On Tuesday, everything went Perryville's way against Dover as Perryville made off with a 14-2 win. Fans of the Mustangs have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Ainsley Tippen was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Perryville let Macey Chambers and Grace Anderson run wild. Chambers scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3, while Anderson went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Chambers is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kendyl Griffin, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Perryville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .480. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in seven consecutive matches.
Bigelow not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13th. They blew past White County Central 21-3.
Briley Starks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in walks (zero). She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Bigelow got a massive performance out of Bryn Weaver, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one RBI. The dominant performance gave Weaver a new career-high in runs. Addyson Jordan was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Bigelow is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. Perryville's victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
Perryville was able to grind out a solid win over Bigelow in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 5-2. Will Perryville repeat their success, or does Bigelow have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
