It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Crowley Eagles can now relate to. They suffered a tough 52-28 loss at the hands of Byron Nelson on Friday. Crowley just can't catch a break and has now endured four losses in a row.
Despite the loss, Crowley still got an impressive performance from Caleb Williams, who threw for 319 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 125 yards. Derrick Tasby jr was another key contributor, picking up 103 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Crowley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Byron Nelson, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Crowley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Byron Nelson is on the road again on Friday and play against Midland at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Midland will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Byron Nelson is ranked fourth).
