Basketball Recap: Eastern Greene Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Kyan Hudson and Coby Sykes

After flying high against Evansville Day last Saturday, Eastern Greene came back down to earth. The Eastern Greene Thunderbirds fell 47-34 to the Bloomfield Cardinals on Friday. The Thunderbirds have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Eastern Greene's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Coby Sykes, who posted nine points, and Kyan Hudson, who had eight points.

Eastern Greene's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Bloomfield, their record now sits at 10-6.

Eastern Greene has already played their next matchup, a 55-46 defeat against South Knox on the 25th. As for Bloomfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 43-38 loss against Loogootee on the 25th.
