Last Friday, Lewis & Clark narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Central Valley 41-39. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but Ferris weren't quite Mead's equal in the second half when they met. Ferris came up short against Mead, falling 13-21.
Lewis & Clark's win lifted them to 3-0 while Ferris's loss dropped them down to 2-1. We'll find out if Lewis & Clark can add another positive mark to their record or if Ferris can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Lewis & Clark's step.
