The Bellevue Broncos waltzed into their contest on Friday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Athens 95-16 at home. Bellevue's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Bellevue's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.7 points per game. As for Athens, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellevue will take on Mendon at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Athens, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Colon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Colon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
