TEACH's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their tenth straight loss. They were dealt a 65-29 defeat at the hands of StoneBridge. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points TEACH has scored all season.
StoneBridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyler Thompson, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thompson has scored all season. Douglas Marshall was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
TEACH's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-10. As for StoneBridge, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. TEACH on the road again on Friday and play against Norfolk Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for StoneBridge, they will take on Atlantic Shores Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
