Randolph-Henry will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Prince Edward County on Monday. The Statesmen were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over the Eagles. The Statesmen haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Kendall Snead and McKayla Lockett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Snead tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Lockett kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. At bat, Snead went 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Lockett went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those two runs gave Lockett a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Glenna Vereen, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. She also put up a stolen base, which was her first of the season. Alyssa Townsend was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Meanwhile, while Nottoway put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Prince Edward County. The Cougars blew past the Eagles 23-0. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Nottoway has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Randolph-Henry, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.
