With a playoff win on the line, Lumberton rose to the challenge on Friday. They never let the Shaw Warriors get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Johnny Crawford was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaydon Graham, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Lumberton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .708. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Lumberton, bringing their record up to 17-7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Shaw, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

As of now, neither Lumberton nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
