 Meanwhile, Potts Camp fell victim to Hickory Flat and their airtight pitching crew  last Friday. Their  tough  6-0 loss to the Rebels  might stick with them for a while. Potts Camp's defeat continues an unfortunate trend for the  squad, making it three in a row.
 West Union's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Potts Camp, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 3-13.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  in their first game  on Saturday as both teams have some strikeout artists on the roster. West Union has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 7.4  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Potts Camp struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.8. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
