Allen East extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 34-33 heartbreaker at the hands of the Crestview Knights. On the bright side, the 33- point performance marked the Mustangs' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Keagan Jones threw for 154 yards while completing 71.4% of his passes. Deacon Jones was his top target, picking up 87 receiving yards. On the ground, Steven Emerick rushed for 205 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.

As for Crestview, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.7 points over those games.

It was another big night for Braxton Leeth, who rushed for 264 yards and four scores while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 231 rushing yards.
