Friday just wasn't the day for Tivy's offense. They fell  4-0 to the Boerne-Champion Chargers on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  11-1  on Tuesday.

 Sam Barber was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  pitched six innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   seven  hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Tivy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Conner Bloomer, who  went 2-for-3 with one  double.
Tivy is  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 11-19. As for Boerne-Champion, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record  this season.
 Tivy will be playing at home against Alamo Heights  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Boerne-Champion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
