Holmen came into Saturday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Monona Grove Silver Eagles by a score of 8-3 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Holmen's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Monona Grove, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holmen will welcome West Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
