The Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 59-42 bruising from Colome.
Sunshine Bible Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Trey Thieman and Dominic Kalacinski. Thieman scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and five assists, while Kalacinski dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. Thieman is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played.
Sunshine Bible Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Colome, their victory ended a eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-14.
Sunshine Bible Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Non Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on February 9th. As for Colome, they will take on Flandreau Indian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
